So tired of running even a race, yet I have to run a medleyI tell myself to keep holding on
To keep pushing myself to my limits
To keep running and never to turn back to see how far Ive gone
Time and again I realise Im not as strong as I presumed myself to be
My breathings and sighs get heavier as I struggle with my inner self
Wanting to just stop moving and take a little breather
This life's my fight, my race, mine to begin with
No one but me has to fight in this battle, run in this race
But why am I running for others?
Why should I fight for them;
The others who remain now, and always, the constant reminder that I
Am weak but have to be strong
