Yesterday was our day.All our practices, hard work, conflicts, laughter, criticism, encouragement, support, frustration - everything that made us TMSCO was judged yesterday for that few minutes we spent on stage.
When we went on stage, I felt myself shaking, because I was so worried..... We were only a bronze standard when we performed at EZCO. But well, when I was shaking, it made it easier to vibrato LOL.
Anyway, we linked our arms, as Prebysterian High (did I get the spelling right?) were cheering, it was our turn.

I was in total shock but my body moved by itself, sprung up and screamed, I wonder if it was in shock, disbelievement or pure happiness and joy. I think it was a mixture of everything. I thought they reported wrongly. When I heard "rong" I thought it was "tong" (Bronze). But it was all too true, we did it. We did it! Altogether as one, as TMSCO.
I think my happiness was not only for the fact that all our practices were worth it, or that we managed to own the other schools (LOL), or that it was the first in TMSCO history that we clinched a GwH. It was more of....... The piece that we played (esp Song of Cicada), that kind of feeling, I was so moved by it I felt like even if we got COP it would have been the best any school could ever play. It was music. Not just instruments playing together and following a sheet of paper, but music. And of course thinking back on the times during this SYF period, all the conflicts that I have posted twice about (I think?)..... I thought we wouldn't make it. But everyone pulled themselves together like one big family. I love this feeling. (Ok actually most of this paragraph Idk what I'm saying, I'm still stuck on cloud 1 million + [Cloud nine, get it??? LOL])
Aaaaaaaaanyway, cutting my very very duper long speech short,
Congratulations to TMSCO for obtaining the GwH for SYF Central Judging 2009.
It's now up to the juniors to take up this baton, and carry the Temasek flame to greater heights! (Like maintain the GwH etc)
I'm really glad we didn't let the seniors down, we not only maintained the Gold, we actually did better!!! And we were the only GwH in the entire morning session :)
So yeah, my dearest SYf '11 players, you know what you ought to do :D
I love TMSCO!
Hope to play Fen Yong, Jian Kuai etc etc again after MYEs:P
Oh, and Zoranne said I nearly flooded the concert hall. Lolllllll, and Zheng laoshi hit my head!!! I'm so happy he came back to see us.
